Purpose of the excercise

Strengthening the quadriceps muscles. Strengthening the muscles around the knee. Strengthening the thigh muscles.


Target

Knee joint pain. Reduced walking endurance. Decreased lower limb muscle strength.


Muscles that can be trained

Quadriceps, Iliopsoas, Rectus Abdominis


Note

If you experience lower back pain or arching, perform the exercise with the opposite knee bent.
