Purpose of the excercise

Achilles Tendon and Hamstring Stretch


Target

Knee joint pain, decreased lower limb flexibility


Muscles that can be stretched

Muscles involved: Hamstrings (Semimembranosus, Semitendinosus), Triceps Surae (Gastrocnemius, Soleus)


Note

Keep your chest lifted and avoid rounding your back as you lean your torso forward. It may be easier to perform the exercise if you sit slightly forward on the edge of the chair.
